Every year, Mathematics Olymiad Exams are conducted for class 1 to class 12 students studying in Indian Schools.

Olympiad examination is conducted through school only and, if your school is not participating you have very limited option for appearing in this exam.

Most of Mathematics Olympiads are Two Level Exam
  • Level 1:
    • Paper based, multiple-choice (MCQ) exam conducted in colobaration with school
    • Exam is conducted for class 1 to 12
    • The medium of the test is English
    • Mostly the questions are asked from NCERT/CBSE syllabus
    • This is open to all students studing in participating school.
  • Level 2:
    • Based on performance in level 1 exam, only top performing students gets qualified for this exams.
    • This is also a paper based, multiple-choice (MCQ) exam
    • Normally, questions are asked from the NCERT/CBSE syllabus of the participating student's class
    • Difficulty level of questions are little more than what was there for level 1 exam
